Ocker is a representative of the Australian Cheese Board. He has frequent business visits to the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Bangkok, etc.

HOT NEWS! Here is the world-renowned Jensen expert and Jensen-knowledgeable-person, Richard Calver, presenting Ocker with a copy of his latest master-work. Ocker may appear slightly confused, but put that down to the VB! More info on the Jensen enthusiasts' latest 'must-have': Click here!

JOC Caption Competition!

Sucked in! That's the expression. That pommie Jensen Owners Club editor fella Kev Anniston has asked me to present this photo on my venerable web site. (Strewth! Lucky I used the spell check there, I almost typed venereal. . .)

He wants a CAPTION for this photo (below) that was taken a coupla years back when I was in Pomland as a guest of the famous JOC couple the Nelsons. Jan has been baking me Lamingtons ever since my first visit to the Land of the Poms. The photo shows Bob (Nelson) about to spout some pearls of wisdom. THE CAPTION(S) are over to you! Send them to your ol' mate OCKER quick smart. Rude, lewd, the more the merrier! No prizes for this fellas, but the winning entry will be published here (and in the JOC Magazine) are you with me?

That from Bob Adams from sunny California — fair dinkum mate, I said rude and lewd! You can do better than that!

This one from Bisso — I ask you?

This from Bisso again — almost humorous mate — can try harder!

Come on fellas — we can do better than this!

Below is a selection of photos from Ocker's recent visit to New Zealand.

Ocker with his old friend 'Meegs'

They couldn't keep Ocker away from The Mermaid Bar, one of his favourite haunts on Kiwi visits . . .

Ocker also has an interest in Jensen motors cars, here are some Kiwi enthusiasts' cars.

Pictured recently at the Wagga Wagga Show, this is Ocker's famous FJ Ute

(That's Meeg's Jensen-Healey behind.)

Another pic at the Wagga Wagga Show - behind the J-H we can see a pristine HT ('69) Holden Monaro, an FB Holden Special, a late '70s Holden Statesman, an EH Premier, and an EJ Special (green with white roof).

Why be interested in classic Pommie and American cars when you can be interested in the real thing?

The Record-Breaker!

Here is Ocker last weekend at the Wagga Wagga RSL Club, (photo courtesy of the Wagga Wagga Daily Advertiser ) pictured breaking his own State-record of downing FIVE "middies" of "new" in under 30 seconds! Ocker had set the original record back in 1978, at 38 seconds. Many, many have tried over the years, but to Ocker's dismay and Wagga Wagga's disgust, the record was broken in 1999 by Les Goldspink from Lithgow. The Lithgow RSL Club then hosted the competition until 2003, their current champion Neville Case. But in the Queen's Birthday Holiday-Weekend competition of 2003, Ocker returned, he competed, he conquered! The competition is now hosted by the Wagga Wagga RSL and Ocker held his title at the recent event. The competition was fierce however, with Neville Case from Lithgow delivering a block-busting 31 seconds! The dark horse in the competition was Warren Mervyn from Bathurst, who came in at 30.75. The other Riverina contender, Kerry K. Kelly, from Goulburn (it must be added that Kerry is an old friend of Ocker's, and much of his success in regional competitions comes from Ocker's expert coaching), managed a ripper 32 seconds. The current record however, remains with Ocker.

Ocker's Best Mates

'Never leave your mates behind! That's what I always say, no worries. Soon I plan to feature another page devoted to all these old mates who have helped (and hindered) meself over the years.'

r, Australian

Cheese 'Thisjhh'This is meself and some of me mates one Sat'day arvo sinking some schooners. My best mate Clarrie Muldoon is the little fat fella leaning against the KB sign — Clarrie 'n me have had plenty of adventures — are you with me?'

'This is my second-best mate, Ian Bisson. Bisso and I go back a long way, you know? He's a lawyer type of fella, and very much a traditionalist. Tweed jackets and a flat cap when he's driving his Jensen-Healey. This photo was taken last year at Sydney's Royal Easter Show. He didn't look like that later the next morning after we'd been thrown out of a few clubs on the Bayswater Road!'

BISSO'S GETTING MARRIED

I'm proud to announce here on ol' Ocker's web page that Bisso and his lovely sheilah Angela have announced their engagement! Bastard 'forgot' to tell me when the engagement party was (at the end of February) but his mother called to give me the SP. (Bisso's mother an' me go back a long way — are you with me?) Obviously didn't want me to spoil the moment? Apparently Ange didn't approve of my engagement pressie — 12 cases of Tooheys draught — but I bet Bisso's still enjoyin'! No worries.

Now I know Bisso's gonna try to keep his wedding date and venue top secret, but you know, your secret's safe with me mate!

Now I have it on good authority that Bisso would love all the Jensen Mail List members to attend his wedding and wish him all the best. To this end HERE is a genuine Application Form for Australian Citizenship. Fill it in and send it off, with any luck they'll approve your application and you can join us all at Bisso's wedding!

Don't tell him, but as my surprise wedding pressie, I'm having a taylor-made going-away suit made for Bisso by Henry White in Ireland. This will be the absolute fair dinkum, best Irish wool tweed. Never leave your mates behind, eh! Strewth, you'll be better lookin' than the bride!

AND NOW! THE OFFICIAL BISSO WEDDING PORTRAIT!

You saw it here first!
